There are so many LOVE

The bible teaches us love in Paul's letter to the Corinthians:

1 Corinthians 13 NLT on Biblegateway

Love Is the Greatest

1 If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. 3 If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it;[a] but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages[b] and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! 9 Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! 10 But when full understanding comes, these partial things will become useless.

11 When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. 12 Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.[c] All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

13 Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

Then the Thesaurus has different meaning to it - affectionate, amative, amatory, amorous, egocentric, enamored, erotic, infatuated, loving, narcistic, painstaking, smitten, unrequited It all sounds more like the human world's definition of love. God's love is truly amazing.

And then for me the connection with love ... is the relationships. My love for God is so much I have no patience to slow down to allow others to love me. Why should I slow down ... people need God and so I should keep on running, running faster and so I can tell people how great God is in their lives. He is just waiting to touch you.

But somehow that all seems to clog up my life. To run and me doing all the work...me me me...WAIT! HOLD ON! God is the one in charge of my life, so would you rather let God work in you or you do God's work. Change from the inside out. I want to be God's instrument and not be trying, pretending to do his good work day in and day out. I want to be in his immense love and to be filled and living with Grace.

Ruth

This is such a nice collection of Ruth's story in one mindful of words. So power they are and you know that words can be more powerful than a sword! Looks at politics, countries can harm each other without shooting at each other nowadays...just by using an exchange of words, Quite HARMless move but HARMful it can be indeed to the one receiving!!!

Dearest Fran,

Each has a purpose. Multiple calls. Uneven journey.
To learn, live and confront the Evil in each and everyone.

ISA 54:4 NIV
"Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame.
Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated."

Well, what is needed in love...what should we throw into this blender to make this love potion to be able to fall in love???

To give,
To see,
To want,
To to to...all wishes of hope but none whatsoever about the desire of change...just more demands!

Youth is a gift of nature, Age is a work of art."
